You can edit your school-specific role and the subjects you teach by selecting the roles button located under the News heading in the top-right corner of the page. Click “Save” after making your changes.
A more extensive update of one’s own information is possible in the Settings view General and Schools sections at the bottom of the page.
In the General section, you can edit your name and email information, update your Teacher’s World password and change the language of the Teacher’s World user interface (Finnish/Swedish/English).
- If you change your last name, for example, you can edit it in your own data and update your email address. This way, you do not need to create a new username in Teacher’s World.
Manage school information in the Schools section. If you have changed jobs, you can edit the information for your educational institution and update your role and the subject you teach.
- If you change schools, you can remove the old educational institution from your data and join a new one. When you submit a request to join, an automatic message will be sent to the administrator responsible for approving requests. The school secretary or principal will usually act as administrator. You will be sent an email once your request to join has been approved. After this you will be able to use the digital materials purchased by the school.
