Najat Ouakrim-Soivio (Ed.D., Ph.Lic.) is Associate professor at Finnish Institute for Educational Research in University of Jyväskylä, Finland. She has worked as a teacher of history and social studies, principal and teacher trainer, Project Manager in the Finnish National Agency for Education’s learning outcomes assessment unit, Counsellor of Education at the Ministry of Education and Culture, and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki. Her primary research themes include realisation of educational equality in the Finnish education system.
